Privacy Policy
Effective 19 July 2026 · astrolize.app and the Astrolize app for macOS
The short version
Astrolize is built so that we know as little about you as technically possible. The app keeps every chart on your Mac, the website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, and there is no account system anywhere.
The Astrolize app
All charts, birth data, notes and settings are stored in a sandboxed local database on your Mac. Nothing you enter in the app is transmitted to us — the app has no account system, no cloud sync and no telemetry, and it works entirely offline.
Location search uses Apple geocoding services on your Mac to turn a typed place name into coordinates; those lookups are handled by Apple under the Apple privacy policy and are not visible to us.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the Mac App Store. We never see your payment details, and refunds are handled by Apple.
The astrolize.app website
This website is a static marketing site. It sets no cookies, embeds no third-party trackers and runs no analytics scripts.
Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and operational purposes only. These logs are rotated automatically and are not used to profile visitors.
If you write to our support address, we receive the information you choose to send — your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to answer you, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Data sharing and sale
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties. We hold essentially no personal information to share.
Children
Astrolize and this website are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted in the app release notes as well.
