Forecasting

Produce transit, progression and solar-arc event lists with the available forecast controls.

On this page (4 sections)

Forecast produces a dated event list for the selected chart. For this worked example, open Iris Vale's natal chart and inspect 1 to 31 October 2026. The purpose is to find and examine calculated events, not to certify what will happen to Iris. Start with a bounded period so the list remains practical to read and compare.

Scan October 2026

Animation of an October 2026 Forecast scan filling the event list.

Choose Forecast in Predictive, or find it with Command-K. The controls are the From and to dates, Sort, Filter and Scan. Set both date boundaries before scanning. The animation shows Scan filling the list, rather than a separate report generator.

  1. Select Iris Vale and open Forecast.

  2. Set From to 1 October 2026 and the ending date to 31 October 2026.

  3. Choose Scan and wait for the list, then use Sort and Filter to focus your reading.

Read the event type as well as the time

October Forecast results with midpoint contacts, Moon aspects and ingresses.

With Sort set to By Date, the example includes Saturn = Mars/Uranus at 2:57 PM on 1 October and Moon semi-square Sun at 4:08 PM. The first is a midpoint contact, not an ordinary two-body aspect. Other visible rows include Moon VOC (modern) and Moon enters Cancer. Their labels distinguish techniques that should not be treated as equivalent signals. Keep the date and the event text together when taking notes.

Open one event chart

Saturn = Mars/Uranus event sheet with a natal and Transit bi-wheel.

Select Saturn = Mars/Uranus to open its event sheet. The heading repeats 1 October 2026 at 2:57 PM, and the bi-wheel places the Transit ring around the natal chart for that moment. Check the sheet title before comparing rings. Close returns you to the list; choose another row to inspect another event rather than carrying the first event's time into the next reading.
