Traditional offers several timelines and a zodiacal arc table. Use Iris Vale's chart to inspect each separately: their period labels, rates and starting points differ. Open Zodiacal Releasing, Firdaria, Profections or Zodiacal Longitude Arcs in the navigator or with Command-K. The highlighted current periods below describe the capture date, not an unchanging property of the chart.
Release from the Lot of Fortune

Set Lot to Lot of Fortune. The example reads Active: Cancer / Gemini. The Cancer level-1 period runs from 2 January 2011 to 24 August 2035, with level-2 periods nested beneath it. An LB badge marks a loosing of the bond sub-period. Read the level and its date range together instead of flattening all rows into a single sequence.
Select Iris Vale and open Zodiacal Releasing.
Confirm Lot of Fortune before reading the periods.
Compare the highlighted major period with its sub-period dates.
Read the Firdaria major and minor periods

Firdaria shows Current: Moon / Mars. The Moon major period runs from 16 April 2022 to 17 April 2031; the pictured Mars sub-period runs from 23 February 2026 to 8 June 2027. The sequence starts with a ten-year Sun period for this day chart. Do not assume its boundaries should match the releasing periods.
Follow the profection year

Profections reads Current Year: Age 35 Aries Lord: Mars House 12. The table begins at age 0 with Taurus, Venus and house 1, then advances one sign per year. Use Date Range to identify which birthday interval a row covers rather than treating a calendar year as the whole profection year.
Check the zodiacal arc rate

Zodiacal Longitude Arcs has Rate Key set to Ptolemy (1 deg/yr) and lists 116 arcs in the example. Promissor and Significator identify the bodies or angles, while Arc, Years and Date describe the conversion. The first row is Uranus trine Asc dexter, arc 0 00 41, 0.01 yrs, 21 April 1991. Keep dexter or sinister with an aspect when recording it.
